Heart-Based Singing Workshops 2020

No workshops are currently scheduled for the coming year.

Summer Workshops in Santa Barbara, California.

Workshops are great fun yet accomplish deep, disciplined study.  You will leave with a physical and vocal practice of your own, great tools to sing with, and loads more confidence in performance.

Attending a workshop is a wonderful way to prepare for auditions and pre-screening CD requirements for college or conservatory applications.   Singing your audition or performance repertoire in front of an audience of your peers is invaluable.  Participation is also a way for Agatha to get to know you, should you desire a private spot in the studio for the coming school year.

The various workshops give you the chance to completely immerse yourself in singing.  Singing is so experiential, that oftentimes, you can finish a private lesson and forget the process you just worked on with your teacher.  Workshops enable you to see from a perspective that you would not otherwise hold.  Being in the company of other singers, you will be able to understand technique from the inside out, and from the outside in.  There is much depth of learning from the results others accomplish.  Postural alignment is emphasized through Yoga. Wellness in general is discussed.

Summer workshop limit is 8 people.

4 day workshop - $500 | Thursday 6 - 9 PM | Friday 10 AM - 6 PM | Saturday 10 AM - 6 PM | Sunday 9 AM - 1 PM

" Agatha's technique gave me a deep, natural connection to my voice that has kept me in top performance condition since I began studying with her. As I have grown as a vocalist and performer, this approach has continued to serve as my foundation. Her methods facilitate a true understanding of one's instrument that does not rely on tricks or gimmicks, simply legitimate, unpolluted knowledge."
